In Caribbean Music News. Recording artist Tessanne Chin made the nation proud by appearing on the hit American TV show The Voice. Tessanne, who is a well established rock, reggae and soul artist in Jamaica, beautifully sang Pinks hit record “try” and had all the judges including Christina Aguilera, Cee-lo Green and Adam Levinge begging and fighting to have her on their team. She was even told that “she could easily win” by Adam.
Tessanne Chin who is the sibling of Tami Chin (also a recording artist and wife to Wayne Marshall) had overwhelming support from major entertainers, sports celebrities and the people of Jamaica who took to social media with #TeamTessanne. She was amongst the top trending topics on twitter, google and facebook leading up to and after her performance.
By the end of the performance she had all four judges mesmerized with her beautiful Jamaican Accent and down to earth persona. She even described singing as being her “bread an buttah” which made her extremely likeable and won over the entire viewing public! Tessanne eventually went for Adam as her mentor.
