Let me introduce you to Lashawn “Scrouge” Selwood; he’s from St Thomas, US Virgin Island. He was introduced to music as a teenager and began performing with local bands and artists.

He has opened for many artists you’d know such as Machel Montano, Swappi, Supa Blue, Patrice Roberts and Alison Hinds. His energetic and charismatic performances on stage have captivated the hearts, minds and souls of many fans and followers throughout the Caribbean and the world.

In this week’s The Dolor Factor he tells me how he changed from Calpyso to Soca and talks about his island’s appreciation of music. And of course, you’ll hear his music too.
