Turtle Bay’s 23rd restaurant in the UK will be located in the centre of Cardiff in a near £1m investment that will create 60 new jobs.
A Caribbean inspired restaurant chain is to open its first venue in Wales in an investment creating 60 jobs.
Turtle Bay will open its 23rd restaurant at Hodge House on St Mary Street in Cardiff in December. Located on the ground floor of Hodge
Founded in 2010 by Ajith Jayawickrema and Stephen Entwistle, Turtle Bay was the first high Street Caribbean-branded restaurant and bar in the UK.
Its new Cardiff restaurant will open on December 10th. The company is tomorrow holding a recruitment day for its 60 new roles at the Royal Hotel in Cardiff.
Its new restaurant will extend to nearly 5,000 sq ft.

Mr Jayawickrema said: “We are really happy to be in Cardiff, and feel Caribbean food will be really popular with the local community.
