Travel News. Cyclists and drivers in the UK here are a number of safety tips that can help prevent some of the most common causes of accidents involving cyclists in London. The tips relate to road position, traffic lights, junctions, car doors and lorries. For example, cyclists are encouraged to ride away from the gutter and in the middle of the lane where it is too narrow for cars to pass safely.
