‘There’s Always Light At The End Of The Tunnel’

If anyone had told me that 2022 was going to be a year where I would feel like I was being beaten up in a boxing ring by any of the world’s famous boxers in a dark room, my reply would be that they are lying and their thoughts about me were negative. However, upon reflection of what has occurred in my life to date this prediction would be accurate.

In February 2022, I received the sad news that my mother had passed away coupled with being told of the tragic circumstances surrounding her death. I was then informed of the failures by various authorities which I’m not at liberty to discuss at this moment due to ongoing investigations. In an earlier article I explained how my life was in danger by an overzealous individual in January 2022, needless to say I felt I was falling into a dark bottomless pit, which only God Almighty could pull me out of.

My emotions were being pulled from pillar to post, my body couldn’t continue its exercise and eating routine, my mind unable to focus. There were days where I found it difficult to comprehend matters or enjoy the simple pleasures of life, everything to me at that time seemed to be filled with continuous darkness. I didn’t like the season of life I was in and couldn’t escape it no matter how hard I tried. I only knew a couple of things for sure, firstly that God had me in the palm of His hand, He was forever mindful of me and secondly, I had fantastic family and friends praying for me, this gave me comfort in the multitude of emotional despair, because at times all I could say was ‘Jesus help me’.

I want to encourage you that there is light at the end of the tunnel, you may be in a season in life where nothing is making sense no matter how hard you are trying. You may be going through bereavement, abandonment, rejection, redundancy, emotional or/and physical abuse, but rest assured there is light at the end of your dark tunnel.

My light started to come when I laid my mother to rest in March 2022. The legal processes concerning her death continue and so does the case against the individual who threatened my life, but you know what the negative emotional toll that both situations had on me has lifted tremendously, glory be to God. During the journey to enlightenment my faith in God became strengthened, I drew closer and saw Him in ways I’d not previously known.

I’m on my way home now from a two week ministry and holiday in Brazil. I feel empowered and more rooted in my faith. I have clarity on moving forward furthermore, now is the time to lay down some projects I’ve been working on. A new dawn has arised and now I’m moving excitedly into the new season that God has for me.

Dear beloved, I know what you may be going through now is not pleasant, but rest assured God will bring you forth as pure gold, strengthened and ready to embrace your destiny. Unfortunately in this life we have to go through pain to enjoy the greater blessings that God has for us. Why? I really don’t have the full answer to that but I know God does. Trust Him in your dark time and watch Him bring you out into His marvellous light in Jesus name…Amen!

Until next time, remember you are beautiful and wonderfully made – With love Amanda x
