The recording of historical ‘facts’ of an era or geographical location is usually coloured by the perception and belief system of the person or people gathering those details. The fact that the history of the Caribbean and in this instance more particularly, Jamaica is incorrect is no surprise as the details were colated by colonisers and or their descendants.
