In this challenge, Ashleigh did well in my opinion. She was very clear in her speech and she was able to hold some amount of attention. Watching her was like watching a real infomercial which was well thought out. Salem came out rhyming like a DJ or rapper. Her infomercial was quite humorous as well, as she made references to Vybz Kartel, when speaking about the product which apparently bleaches the skin. However my problem with her performance was that, she did not seem too concerned with the other products such as the fragrance, the soap and so on. She mostly or only spoke of the bleaching product. However she was very entertaining.
Tia looked uncomfortable during her performance; however, she was not the worst. Atlanta did well also. Like Ashleigh she was very clear in her speech. Candy, the new girl from Trinidad and Tobago, did horribly. She was not clear in her speech and she seemed a bit confused as well. It seemed as if she did not prepare before she did the infomercial and was clueless about the products. However, since she is just being added to the house, I will cut her some slack, as she has not yet found her groove. Trini’s performance was also a bit lackluster, as she, like Tia seemed somewhat confused and a bit nervous as well.
Overall my reaction towards that challenge was mixed, as some of the girls did well while others failed miserably. The best were, Ashleigh, Atlanta and Salem. No one got eliminated in this episode; however two girls will get eliminated in the next episode. The challenge for the next episode will be to make Kartel a meal. Me sorry fi Salem and dem long fingernail deh. Anyway, let us wait and see how that turns out.
