Caribbean news. MONDAY APRIL 20, 2014; KINGSTOWN, ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES – In the coming months, there will be a number of consultations under the Juvenile Justice Reform Project.

The National Centre for State Courts, contracted by the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Secretariat to develop national training plans in Court Management, Facilities Management, and Social Support Delivery, and the development of a regional Policy Framework towards the establishment of diversion programmes.

Two members of this institution are expected to be in St. Vincent and the Grenadines May 7 – 9, 2014 to conduct consultative meetings with representatives from the magistracy and court personnel, juvenile facility managers and support staff, and social support service personnel.

In addition, another consultation has been scheduled for June 2 – 3, 2014. This consultation is related to the development of an Integrated National Strategy on Juvenile Justice Reform, and is expected to be facilitated by Mrs. Felicia Robinson.
