We are Sweet Patootee Arts, a non-profit arts and heritage organisation, with a passion for oral testimony and working in collaboration. A small selection of our work is available on our website. This includes productions for BBC TV and Channel Four, The International Slavery Museum… – http://sweetpatootee.co.uk
We are over the moon that Arts Council England have given us a grant to complete our latest production, TURNING POINT. But we are now raising additional funding to enable our work with diverse Black communities and stakeholders nationwide – to deliver ‘free-to-access’ digital resources and public activities for learning, wellbeing, and dementia support – inspired by TURNING POINT’s Caribbean heritage storytelling and folk songs, during the production’s nationwide touring exhibition from 1st October 2022 to 2026.
Our touring schedule is a work in progress. But the itinerary so far is:
(Oct 2022 to Feb 2024) – Bristol, Liverpool and London
(2024) Birmingham, Glasgow…
(2025) Manchester…
