Evangelical Alliance and Full Gospel Fellowship in Guyana Celebrates 50th Years with the Launch of ‘Building Bridges’ Book and 2014 Revival Mission trip to Guyana.
Dedicating his life to mission and outreach work which started in travelling from Guyana to London soon after receiving a call on his life to become a missionary, the late Philip Mohabir has become remembered for his services, passion and heart for the nations as a trailblaizer of his time, father, mentor and husband to Muriel Mohabir.
Born and raised as a Hindu, Philip tells of his remarkable conversion in an R.E lesson becoming the only Christian in his small village near Georgetown, Guyana. Often reading his bible under his bed in secret.
He leads you through a dramatic personal story of reconciliation, forgiveness, love and evangelism despite suffering and rejection while ministering the love of Christ.
Many examples of God’s grace and power follow, as he journeys alone to Britain in simple faith with very little money where he became an evangelist.
He encountered much hardship at the spiritual wilderness in London and encounters shock when he is expelled from a group of evangelical Christians on account of his colour.
