Paul Wayne Gregory a chocolate maker of immeasurable skill and talent has after many years of toiling set up his first shop (outlet) in Brixton Market. Now the many beautiful chocolate shapes and designs in their elegant packaging can be purchased from a most convenient location in South London.

Paul Wayne Gregory studied at Westminster College and has over 20 years of experience in the catering industry. After working in the main kitchen, Paul Gregory found his true love in the pastry section.

Paul creating another masterpiece

In 2006 Paul Gregory was awarded an award of Excellence in the Food & Drink Awards. Developing a passion for chocolate he began his training in a number of high class establishments, including working for Mousier Jean Valentine in Paris friend of Michel Roux, Head Chef of the Waterside Inn which has three Michelin stars.

Paul Gregory later went on to work with a number of Pastry Chefs in Europe including Oriol Balaguer. On Paul?s journey he was offered the position of second chef but decided to return to London, as he says, ‘I needed to find myself again’. It was here that Paul Gregory created the company’s philosophy and concept. The foundations of the company were laid and the rest as they say is history.

In 2006, Paul opened his London based company Paul Wayne Gregory Ltd.
Specialising in designing and supplying bespoke centre displays, sculptures and unique hand crafted chocolates for any event. The handmade chocolates are sold wholesale to restaurants and hotels or perfectly packaged in small gift boxes which can be exclusively designed for your corporate business or special function.

“The concept of our style starts with the look of the chocolate and ends in that after taste of rich smooth chocolate in the back of the mouth,” says Paul Gregory.

Paul says, “The chocolates we make are made from the freshest and finest ingredients in the world, which we have taken a great deal of time to source. Vanilla pods from Tahiti, coffee from the Blue Mountains of Jamaica and fresh passion fruit purée from South America.”

The chocolate sculptures are a reflection of Paul’s love for art, with chocolate being his medium creating intricate but simple designs.
In its first year the company has supplied chocolates for the Queen’s 80th Birthday celebrations, Microsoft and leading restaurants in the UK. Paul Wayne Gregory Ltd is also the nominated supplier for a selection of prestigious catering groups.

Paul also supplies a number of Michelin styled restaurants and 5 star hotels including, Gary Rhodes, Michael Cains, Royal Opera House, Marriot Hotel, Mansion House, The Gherkin to name a few.

In February 2006, Paul Gregory launched his new range of chocolates, Pure Indulgence which were exclusively available at Harvey Nichols’Stores across the UK.

In December 2008, Paul launched a Chefs Counter in Fortnum & Mason store in Piccadilly for the Christmas season, featuring 8 exclusive chocolates from his range.

The company has qualified as one of the finalists for an Award of Excellence 2008 in the confectionary category and continues to grow from strength to strength. As part of their expansion PWG Ltd moved into large premises in October 2008, in order to meet the demands of the consumer.

In December 2009, Paul launched another Chefs Counter in Fortnum & Mason store in Piccadilly for the Christmas season, featuring 8 chocolates from his range with 4 chocolates exclusively available to Fortnum & Mason.
