For those of us fashion faithful’s, that at times…well let’s face it all the time, just feel like mashing up the fashion calendar, struggle to control our anticipation  for the upcoming season’s new collections and peep the next big thing to hit the runway, Vogue.co.uk have launched the first ever online fashion week. The event consisted of hundreds of retailers including; Dune, Mulberry, Liberty, Selfridges and my lovely ASOS who generously offered 20% off all ASOS collection items in celebration of Online Fashion Week. The numerous retailers and designers splashed out special offers, limited edition collections and competitions; most notably the week long promotion from Selfridges who organised a virtual hide and seek and a chance to win £500, which was just one of many giveaways throughout the week long event.
Just like almost everything nowadays and considering ‘tis the season to be charitable, you were able to choose a charity that would benefit from your purchase. It’s safe to say, Online Fashion Week sent social networking into overdrive, we were kept up-to-date via blogs and up to the minute updates via twitter.

As a certified shoe obsessed lunatic, I was particularly happy at the unveiling of Christian Louboutin’s first ever website in Europe, that we can ACTUALLY purchase shoes from! This has been way too long overdue, so we suffer no more – hooray!
One of my favourite offers of the week however was definitely the free tee from Miss Sixty – well free with all purchases over £150, what a sweet life it would be if I had that sort of cash to just splash about all willy-nilly…All jokes aside I am seriously feeling the print. Self-proclaimed Queen of versatility, I can just imagine this, dressed either up or down. Throw it over a pair of light washed straight jeans, short fur/faux fur swing coat topped or rather bottomed off with a pair of flat ankle boots. Need to spruce it up for a night out on the town, substitute the jeans for some leather panelled leggings, lace up shoe boots with a wedge heel, oh and just so you don’t freeze to death a boyfriend blazer – sorted.
I could easily sit here and piece through look after look, this should certainly be an annual if not seasonal happening, Yaz could get used to this – I’m already saving up for the next one.

Light wash jeans – Court house

Chelsea Ankle boots – Top shop

Leather panelled leggings – Top Shop
