Trinidadian born rapper Nicki Minaj collected her second No. 1 album in a row last week, as her “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” hit the U.S. chart at No. 1.

Minaj achieved the feat of a 253k debut week according to Nielsen SoundScan for the week ended April 8.

Meanwhile, Madonna’s new offering “MDNA”  slumped by a staggering 86.7 percent to just 48,000 copies sold.

“Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” seemingly ousting the album from No. 1 to No. 8 on the charts – Ouch!

“I didn’t expect the kids to gravitate to me like that,” the 29-year-old said!

Now we all know Nicki Minaj loves the kids, but she’s not cleaning up her music for her young fans.

“I’ve always been kind of racy,” Minaj said, laughing. “Don’t expect that to change, but I love children and I respect children so much. … I’m big on them remaining, you know, kids. I don’t want them to go around cursing and acting crazy.”

She’s shockingly surprised that her much of her fan base includes young girls? Kinda obvious if you ask me but… That said, she has transformed her image by singing on her songs, and toning down her oversexed appearance.

BREAKING NEWS:

Nicki Minaj is reportedly looking for a house in Buckinghamshire and wants to paint it pink.

“Nicki loves England for the heritage and the countryside. She has been scouring the web for a place,” showbizspy.com quoted a source as saying.

“Her inspiration is the pink palace that 1960s movie star Jayne Mansfield had in Hollywood,” the source added.

The singer is also said to be planning to install a pink, heart-shaped swimming pool, buy a pink Rolls-Royce for the driveway and have a special area built next to the house for flamingoes.
