Now in its second week, the show features a trivia pre-qualifying round and then the chance for one of the four contestants to enter a cash vault and grab as much of the Digimoney blowing around them as they can in a very short period of time.
Nicholas turned up the excitement a notch when she grabbed $14,000 in the Digicel cash vault, having earned her place by scoring the most points during the trivia segment of the show. The final round was a tense one, as she wagered 300 of her 800 points.
Her gamble paid off when she was the only one of the contestants who answered the final question correctly, securing her place in the vault. Nikesha fell to the floor in disbelief as the host announced her as the winner.
“I can’t believe it,” she said in the moment, “I honestly thought I lost, but God works in mysterious ways. This is a really happy moment for me – thank you Digicel!”
Prior to entering the cash vault, Nikesha said she hoped to grab as much money to help her mother who has a lung ailment – and with $14,000, she is well on her way to doing so.
The other finalists – Kadijah Joseph, Charles Corbin and Marva Ambrose – each received $500 call credit for three months.
“Next week we will be giving away another $50,000 and in the final episode of the promotion, it will culminate in a big Christmas Jam Session party on December 23rd when four Digicel finalists will have a chance to grab up to $100,000 in cash. We’re very excited about the coming weeks and we encourage everyone to participate in this exciting promotion by topping up, buying a phone or paying your postpaid bill on time and in full because you could very well be the next person to win big money from Digicel,” Digicel Marketing Manager Troy Byrne said.
The TV game show, produced by ABS TV & Digicel, airs every Friday evening at 8 pm on ABS TV.
