1. Born in Barbados – The Feevah is riding the crest of the Caribbean wave currently trending which has led to the success of Nicki Minaj (Trinidad); Rihanna (Barbados); Trinidad James (Trinidad); Shontelle (Barbados) and Sean Paul (Jamaica).
2. He’s quirky, stylish and rather dashing – and in fact, is quickly becoming the subject of constant comparison to International Pop Star, Will.I. Am.
3. Hardworking – The Feevah is signed to his own independent record label, Electronik Records. He juggles his own career whilst managing the careers of other upcoming artists. He has created the ‘The Soundbwoy Riddim’, a bubblegum reggae compilation set for distribution across Jamaica and Europe. The Feevah also owns and manages his own successful natural hair salon in Crystal Palace, London.
4.
5. Idiosyncratic- The Feevah is a peculiarity with his music being a breath of fresh air from the usual sound emerging from the music industry. His first single “Get Ya Swagga On”, was produced in Barbados and was inspired by the underground party anthem, “Party Hard”. Get Ya Swagga On has a funky baseline and is bursting with colour, teaming with energy and frustratingly catchy. His second single, Soundbwoy (Run Fi Ya Corner) is very different from the first, The Feevah brought a Hip Hop flavour and teamed this with reggae to create his unique, signature sound.
“Internationally selling rappers, were a source of inspiration when I made this track. Rappers like Foxy Brown who had Caribbean roots were skillful at teaming rap with bashment reggae and inspired me to play with my style”. — The Feevah
6. The support from the underground music scene is unanimously positive. The singles are rapidly gaining momentum with various DJ’s requesting the tracks.
7. Testimonials –
