Yes, it is not uncommon to find your partner searching through your cell phone or reading the messages. Or even asking you who you were on the phone with. It is annoying but it is a reality.
It is even easier for them to search through you friend’s list on Facebook and do a detail search of your friends who are of the opposite sex. Or they may just religiously follow all your conversation on Facebook. I mean they can do as much as they like because it is relatively easy for them to do.
It may be that they are curious about the friends that you keep, or they are insecure about their relationship with you or they are basically a jealous paranoid stalker. Whatever the reason this behaviour is definitely alarming and downright scary.
Everyone enjoys the benefits that technology affords them. But, on the other hand it can be a detriment to a healthy relationship. It has now become
quite easy to keep an eye on your partner. Take this scenario:
Your boyfriend said that he is going to the supermarket. After ten minutes you realize that you are out of milk, so you call him to ask him to buy that item also. However, because you have a video phone that can also detect the location of the person, you can see that he is in fact not at the supermarket. But he is in fact at a jewelry store and you see another woman standing behind him. Thus immediately you promote yourself to a detective searching for other clues, because you are convinced that he is cheating. I mean why else would he lie about where he is going.
However, what you don’t know is that the poor man is buying a surprise necklace for you. And why would you even ask him why he was at the jewelry store when there are so many avenues for you to stalk him through to find out what he was doing.
