Speaking with OBSERVER Sports, Bass said the executive has met and decided on the date.
He said that notices and advice would be submitted to the teams in preparation for this meeting.
The president said high on the agenda would be the president and treasurer’s report and the election of officers to run the association for the next period.
Bass said he would not be seeking re-election, citing lack of co-operation and disunity amongst members.
He said there are over 450 members in the association and no one wants to work, just play, and that can take the association nowhere. He said no one could work without support.
The outgoing president said he considered the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the association and the Ministry of Sports to develop the Princess Margaret School Ground for the home of softball was his greatest achievement, but he is hoping the incoming executive will continue to build on it.
Bass also noted that due to the numerous problems in the last year, there was no awards ceremony for the 2011 season, but the outgoing executive is recommending that the ceremony be incorporated with the opening ceremony for the 2012 season.
Bass said the game of softball cricket would not see its true potential until members realise that unity is strength and each one has his or her part to play.
He, however, wishes the incoming executive well as they take up the challenge to administer the sport.
