MIX UP ON THE GULLY SIDE?

By now everyone has heard about the two incidents which took place between Gully/Alliance first lady Stacious and her subordinate and fellow Gulliance member Bridges.  Also by now everyone has heard of the friction between the head of the Gully Squad, Movado and Gully Squad member Flexx.  If you have been living under a rock and have no idea what I am talking about here is the low down:

As it relates to Stacious and Bridges, in the first incident, there were allegations of the two fighting at the video shoot of the Bedroom Riddim.  The two denied that a physical fight took place and tried to brush it off making statements like, whenever a lot of females are together, there is bound to be some argument and saying people argue but according to them, that was it.  They had an argument and the matter was rectified and they claimed they were good again.  Not good enough apparently, because according to various news sources, the two were at it again and this time they were physically fighting and this time they cannot deny because there were eyewitnesses of the public this time.  Apparently, Bridges shoved Stacious and Stacious responded by hitting her opponent with her cell phone, several times.  (hmm…I wonder if it was a Torch).  Since the incident Stacious has apologized to her fans for losing her temper.

Now moving on to the Gully God and Flexx.   According to Flexx, the police

Super Star Bounty Killer

had him as a person of interest and were seeking him, however he was on tour (NOT with Movado).  A local newspaper, however reported that Flexx was on tour with Movado.  Movado, then called Flexx querying the matter and they sorted it out.  After that telephone conversation, Movado did a radio interview trying to distance himself from Flexx, saying Flexx was not on tour with him, to which Flexx took offence.  In an interview with Winford Williams, Flexx talk up a bag a things saying he took Movado to Bounty Killer and he also affirmed what people have been saying for a while now, that there is tension between Movado and Bounty Killer.

My take on the Movado/Flexx issue though is that, yes I understand where Flexx is coming from and I understand Movado wanting to distance himself from someone deemed a person of interest by the police, as that would be in his (Movado’s) best interest, even if that individual is his childhood friend.  But what I take issue with though is the fact that Flexx came on national television and said some of the things he said.  If you and someone have been friends from childhood and something as petty as a newspaper taking what you said out of context is causing grievance between both of you, you do not reveal certain details like, me did ave a watch n me get a new one so me gi him d old one, a me bring him to Killer.  When you readily reveal such information without anyone even asking you, it is just saying to everyone that a long time yo did waa leggo yo mouth.  And sad to say, this is a trend I notice among a lot of these Dancehall artists, especially the males, ironically.
