The dates have changed, but the search is still on for MISS CARIBBEAN UK 2014 “Beauty with a purpose” Pageant.
The Ultimate Crown for the UK Queen of all the Caribbean Countries.
STUDIO ONE, PANACHE OCCASIONS & CARIBDIRECT in association with Heaven Sent Consultancy, Events Management & PR have provided a platform for the UK’s Caribbean ladies to demonstrate and display their beauty and intellect to the Caribbean community and the World.
The pageant was created to inspire by example; those who feel disadvantaged and to empower them by showing them that, beauty can be more than skin deep.
Due to overwhelming international interest and the volume of applications received for the Miss Caribbean UK Beauty Pageant 2013, the organisers have decided to postpone the heats and competition until next year 2014.
The nature of Miss Caribbean UK is ‘all-inclusive’; and it is the organiser’s intention to include all Caribbean countries, if possible. Therefore, the need to allow sufficient time to achieve this objective is imperative.
The organisers have expressed the reason why they feel the postponement is a key decision.
“This is set to be The Ultimate Crown for Caribbean Pageants in the UK, so getting it right is paramount! We want to ensure that this event is put “on the map” correctly and includes the whole Caribbean community, both here in the UK and internationally. This is more than just a pageant to us, it is a means to unite around a common cause and we want it to reflect this”.
With strong links to the Caribbean Media, through CaribDirect, an on-line news portal for the Caribbean community; the organisers have been approached by various outlets, wanting to be included in the body of the Pageant.
In order to enable this and for the pageant to be a collective initiative, the postponement was deemed a positive stance, which only serves for the betterment of all parties.

Due to the overwhelming response, we strongly encourage potential contestants to complete the application process, as soon as possible, in order to secure their opportunity to be a part of this phenomenal pageant.
In addition to the fabulous prizes on offer, organisers will be offering various public relations and modelling platforms for the contestants which will generate a high level of exposure and opportunity for each one of them.
The Miss Caribbean UK Pageant is poised to act as a vehicle for the people of the Caribbean and the Diaspora to unite around a common purpose; which will be to choose their Queen to represent them to the World, through a joyous occasion. However, through this unity, a message will be enveloped which will help to raise awareness of issues that are affecting the Caribbean community and try to affect positive change to those issues; hence, BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE!
