Before I go into the clash segment, I just have to rant a little about the elimination which took place prior to the clash segment.
Going home on that fateful Saturday night was Renny for the princes and Too Qute for the princesses. On the side on the princesses I had no qualms with the elimination. On the side of the princes, however, I was not pleased.
I was really looking forward to Renny and Deep Jahi entering the ring of fire, due to the lyrical potency of those two contestants. Therefore one can only imagine the disappointment I felt when I heard Big Pop’s name being called as the first contestant to make it to the next round.
Moving on; going into the clash round for the females was, Taliban and Kayla Di Diva and Deep Jahi and Big Pop for the males. The females kicked off the clash round with Kayla Di Diva going first in a three round clash.
Taliban of course responded and in all three rounds got resounding ‘forwards’ from the audience and judges. At the end of all three rounds, all the judges, including, guest judge, Aidonia commended both females, stating that, that was the best clash by the females in the history of the competition.
They did not name a winner; however, their reactions when each of the contestants was performing clearly named Taliban the winner.
Where the men were concerned, all four judges named Deep Jahi the winner, with Miss Kitty claiming that she had never seen one man dying three times until Saturday night when he was slewed by his opponent, Deep Jahi.
Big Pop lost all three rounds of the clash. This clash was, in my opinion a disappointment, as Big Pop failed to deliver.
The winners of the competition will be named on the next airing of the show.
