FFBJ Under the Microscope Forum will be holding Election Watch 2011 following the success of Election Watch 2007 with other key Jamaicans in the Diaspora. Some of the issues we will be looking at are:
- Should Jamaicans with Dual/ Triple Citizenship seek political office in Jamaica and Does the Jamaican Constitution need to be rewritten in light of this?
- What are the solutions to Garrison Politics? Is there something as a Garrison or is it a state of Mind.
- Jamaica faces huge debt and unemployment and social problems , what measures can be implemented to remedy this by the present and next Government?
- Is Youth the answer in comparison to Old Guards in Moving Jamaica forward?
- Will the untraditional political parties play an important role in the up coming elections?
- Is Corruption engrain in the psyche of Jamaican Politics and how does the country come out of it is the Office of the Contractor General a key way forward?
As in our earlier update FFBJ Election “Watch” 2011 – UNDER THE MICROSCOPE FORUM will be facilitating people’s forum for Jamaicans in the Diaspora to participate in the ELECTION DEBATES around a number of important issues that are affecting our beloved Jamaica like inner city social and economic regeneration programmes; political violence and the economy.
