Jamaica’s favourite funny guys are back for the fifth season of their comedy show.  Ok maybe that statement is not exactly politically correct in our Jamaican context.  But you know that I mean that literally, and not any Jamaican connotations that can be attached to it.  Yes you guessed it, The Ity and Fancycat Show is back.  They have only aired two shows so far and they already have people talking about the fifth season.

Some of us remember the skit from last season when Ity was trying to baptize Fancycat.  Well in the first episode, Ity was trying to heal Fancycat, as he was preaching on a JUTC bus and of course it did not go down well.

Also back this season, from the last season, is Jennifer, the country helper, who is again up to something crazy which got some viewers cracking up.  Also, some of us may remember the skits about Beenie Man in last season that got Beenie Man angry at Ity and Fancycat.  Well the two are not completely done with Beenie Man yet, as he is again featured in this season.

The third week of the season did not bring a new episode but a rebroadcast.  Therefore, if you have not yet caught an episode, you are not that far behind in the season, so be sure to catch the next episode, at 9:30, this Sunday on Television Jamaica (TVJ) and for those episodes that you missed, they are posted on YouTube.com.

That is where I have been catching up on the episodes, as I always fall asleep before it comes on.  9:30 is too late for me.  I want to go to bed early on Sundays after a long day of cooking and cleaning.

Anyway, enough about me; just be sure to get your belly full of laughter.  We need laughter in these harsh times, when tin mackerel is more expensive than chicken back.
