High commissioner for Grenada he Ruth Elizabeth rouse calls for Grenada to contribute to jubilee time capsule before it closes.

High Commissioner records Jubilee Time Capsule memory and urges other Grenadians to take part

High Commissioner Rouse has uploaded her important memory to the world’s largest online history project – The Jubilee Time Capsule – and with one month to go before the project closes, is calling upon Grenadians to do the same.

The Royal Commonwealth Society’s Jubilee Time Capsule project is collating memories from the last 60 years across the Commonwealth. Memories that are uploaded do not have to be about Her Majesty The Queen or Royal Family but whatever individuals want to record and save for generations to come.

So far the project has received 18 entries from Grenada. High Commissioner Rouse’s memory is about delivering the farewell tribute to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan at the United Nations on 14th December 2006.

High Commissioner Rouse said:

“This is a fantastic opportunity for Grenada to ensure that it is represented in the world’s largest online history project. I would encourage people to upload a memory and record a piece of their own personal history for future generations to enjoy before the Capsule closes on 30 September.”
