Following much negotiation and discussion, the popular UK radio station Colourful Radio and UK Caribbean online market leader CaribDirect Multi-Media are pleased to formally announce their pledge to work together for the benefit of the African Caribbean Community in the UK and Caribbean.
The main aim of the partnership is to engage with both the UK Caribbean business community including High Commissions, Tourist Boards and airlines as well as the general UK Caribbean Diaspora to facilitate increased communication geared toward enhancing trade and investment opportunities.
The collaboration will also see the promotion, display and broadcast of key cultural and social events taking place across the Caribbean. Additionally CaribDirect.com will have a live voice each Monday morning on the Colourful Breakfast Show (7am to 10am) when Caribbean lifestyle and business issues come alive.
Colourful Radio’s Founder and Commercial Director, Mr K Kusitor MBE said: “our listeners love to hear news and stories that are Caribbean-oriented. This is reflected in the large number of Caribbean descent listeners to the station. No commercial radio station in the UK caters for this market as we do and by this new partnership we will be able to do better for our Caribbean families, friends and listeners.”
