“You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination” – Leviticus 18:22

Caribbean news. Today the Caribbean is staring down the barrel of complying with demands to legislate same sex marriages in exchange for aid from donor countries, and or institutions.

While the Constitutions of the various islands support the individual rights of persons, and while buggery is a crime on the individual island states’ statute books, homosexuals and lesbians have enjoyed unhindered freedom in the islands.

This is despite that persons hate their practices and them as a human being. Now slowly and deliberately, foreign governments, aid agencies, and financial institutions, lobbied by special interest groups and individuals, are slowly making their intentions known on the legalization of same sex marriages. They want the Caribbean island Governments to legalise same sex marriage and decriminalize homosexuality.

We as a people cannot and should not agree to the legalization of something, which is totally against the Law of JEHOVAH GOD ALMIGHTY.

When JAH created the earth, he also created man. Realising that man was alone, out of the side of man, he took a rib and created woman. He created Adam and Eve…. Not Adam and Steve, so how can all of those who will preach human rights, say that they are children of GOD, that they are well meaning citizens to agree to the legalization of same sex marriages.

“And the LORD God said, ‘It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.’

“Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.

“And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: ‘This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.’ Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” — Genesis 2:18-25 (NKJV).

The image of God is both male and female and is reflected in a godly union between male and female where the creative power of God, His life-giving, His self-giving and His moral nature are perfectly expressed. This is only possible in a heterosexual union.

When God created a partner for Adam He created Eve—not another Adam. This means that perfect partnership requires some level of difference as well as a level of similarity so great that Adam could cry out loudly, ”This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh”. Sexual intimacy between a man and a woman is the normal method of male/female bonding (emotionally and physically) because it corresponds to the design of our bodies and because it is the normal means by which offspring are created.

If God had intended the human race to be fulfilled through both heterosexual and homosexual marriage, He would have designed our bodies to allow reproduction through both means and made both means of sexual intercourse healthy and natural. Homosexual anal intercourse carries a high risk of disease, this is recognized in Scripture where gay men are said to receive in their bodies the due penalty for their error (Romans 1:27).

How can we as a people, as a nation, and a region agree to such and then raise hell and high water when mothers seek to sell their daughters to men in order to earn a living. How hypocritical!!!

How can church leaders preach the Word of JAH, yet find all kinds of excuses to support same sex marriage. Those who do, then their congregations should be run out of their pulpits and defrock them without fail. For years beneath the cassocks of priests and the frocks of pastors are hidden perverseness, which have realized many young men being molested by those who preach from the pulpit, but are actually wolves in sheep’s wool.

If there is any politician who supports same sex marriage, then he or she must be forced to resign from office forthwith.

Moreover, if there is any Prime Minister, Parliamentary Leader of the Opposition, or Political Leader of a political party who supports same sex marriage, then he or she must be forced out of office by any democratic means necessary.

Like it or not the Anthony B song ghetto anthem ‘Fire pon Rome’ is fitting  in how to deal with those nasty pulpit dwellers, for their hypocritical friends and the society at large, will support the killing of a man for planting marijuana, but will welcome those who molested their male children.

You do not literally burn them, but harass them vocally at every opportunity – in and out of the church until they flee. Those who hide behind curtains and closed doors should never open their mouth to accuse those who are against same sex marriages of being anti-development.

To those who are prepared to pervert the natural order of things as ordained by the Law of JAH, we should call for fire upon them in the words of the Buju Banton classic … “Boom Bye Bye in a batty man head.”

No one is calling to shoot anyone, but that their heads ain’t good to be living and liking such a life. Now the question…. Is there a solution? The answer is an emphatic yes!

We as a people need to demand that all of our leaders – political and civic along with the entire nation and region come together for a day of fasting and prayer.

Not the three-hour so-called national day of prayer, but one from sunset to sunset. One where all church doors are open; one where all radio stations are linked to one medium playing one type of music; one where cable television is suspended for the entire period; one where all businesses are closed three hours before the commencement to enable persons to return home to prepare.

If we are to combat their satanic scourge, then we must sacrifice now as individuals, as a nation, as a group of OECS member states, and collectively as CARICOM. Let us turn to JAH for deliverance from the pestilence, and waste no time arguing with those who think that they can support the wrong and at the same time thump their Bibles as how upright they are. The hypocrites!

Which is worst – agreeing to same sex marriage which would boil down to legalizing gay rights or making the needed changes now to the marijuana laws for the legalization of marijuana for medicinal purposes?

So where do we go from here….selling our souls individually and collectively for a few dollars more; selling off our integrity for a fistful of dollars, or come together as a region that is rich in resources and can feed itself if we humble ourselves before JAH.

Time for positive action by our political and civic leaders on this issue. They must institute the draft for recruitment of all soldiers for JAH army to battle against this scourge. Time for we journalists to stop doing the bidding of those foreign interest groups whose only aim is to destroy the moral fabric of our Caribbean society.

The time is now to make this crucial decision.
