Home African Caribbean CaribBe TV Bridging the gap between the Caribbean and the UK

London, England (27th August 2014) – Caribbean news. With calls for greater diversity in broadcasting high on the news agenda in the United Kingdom, CaribBe TV is offering an exciting new development in programming. By launching the premier multi-media platform that will offer viewers a wide variety of TV channels, streaming live and on-demand, direct from the Caribbean, CaribBe TV is aiming to fill the gap in the market on UK shores.

The Caribbean/West Indian community accounts for about 12% of the overall population, in particular in metropolitan areas in the South East and Northern England, and is one of the longest settled communities in the UK. Despite the high number offirst, second and third generation West Indians who call the UK home, there is still a distinct lack of quality TV programming from the Caribbean, unlike programming on offer for African and Asian communities.

Aimed at both the Caribbean/West Indian Diaspora in the UK and any other residents who appreciate Caribbean culture and aspire for a Caribbean lifestyle, CaribBe TV offers unrestricted access to subscribers for authentic viewing originating from the region.
