In Jamaica News. Thirteen years it had been since Bounty Killer and Mr. Vegas are at odds, says Mr. Vegas. Things recently escalated on Twitter when Bounty Killer tweeted a picture of Mr. Vegas in an afro wig and a 1970s costume, performing on stage, with the caption “Tell mi bout da look yah twitterville mi nuh know star?”. Mr. Vegas being an avid user of social media himself did not take this one lying down. He fired back on Facebook, posting “Some artiste cah get no show, so dem have time to post my pics from my performance on them Twitter feed, hoping to get a forward and it fell flat!!”
According to Mr. Vegas in an interview with Ragashanti, this 13 year beef with Bounty Killer all started because of a woman. According to Mr. Vegas, he brought this female from the country to Kingston. Apparently, Bounty Killer took an interest in the woman and rented her an apartment in Red Hills. So of course, like everyone else who Bounty Killer has helped; at that point he owned her.
As a result, he did not take too kindly to the news when one of his friends told him that he saw Mr. Vegas coming out of the Apartment that he rented this woman.
Vegas surmises that, that is where the grudge Bounty is holding on to is stemming from. Since then, Vegas claims that Bounty Killer has tried to sabotage his career, by influencing producers to not work with him (Vegas).
If Vegas is right and this really is as a result of a female; then it would seem that Bounty Killer has a habit of stirring up controversies and feuds with others over females. Of course D’Angel and Beenie Man come to mind. Now if this is so. Would that not make Bounty Killer a “gyal clown””? I mean a 13 year grudge over a woman?
It almost seems ridiculous when one thinks about it. These two men, who have the finances and popularity to get almost any woman their hearts desire, are at war over just one.
Well Bounty Killer has not commented on Vegas’ claims so we do not know for sure; we just have to take Vegas’ words for now.
