Bolt Jaminates’ at Beijing’s World Championships 100 M FINALS

“You can doubt the struggles, it’s human, but never quit struggling because in the end, your struggles will surely become a celebration.” Terry Mark

It was Sunday morning – the birds chirped and I was in la la land. Then I heard pot covers knocking and zinc fences banging. I jumped out of my sweet dreams to see what was happening in reality…and there he was bolting to the finish line, 1st place! Oops he did it again.

Beijing – August 23rd was a day many doubted Usain Bolt would be victorious. For the first time in his medalling career, Usain Bolt went to World Championships as the underdog. Many bets were on American Justin Gatlin who was in top form. The race was about to begin, the audience held their breath and edged their seats. The race began, Gatlin had a better start than Bolt then Bolt closed all lengths and surpassed Gatlin at the finish line by one-hundredth of a second to win the 100 metres at 9.79 seconds. The crowd went wild. Usain Bolt maintained his legacy. He was number one! Leaving all who doubted the Bolt in the dust of his sprint…
