Further screenings of the film will follow shortly in the UK. We’re excited for this history making achievement as the award winning film is also accompanied by a full-length novel. The author of the book and creative mind behind the captivating story, Mathurine Emmanuel, will be in attendance and there will be a live Q&A after the film and book signing. “Shantaye’s World” recently received the gold award for “Best Feature” in our category at the International New York Film Festival and we were also selected for the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival.
Critics are raving about the potency of the story and the level of cinematography portrayed by this collaboration with “All Biz Media” (the production company behind “Shantaye’s World”). The film includes many popular names such as “Coaks” (Carlton Cyril) from “Che Campeche,” “Ma Toe” (Mathurine Emmanuel) from “Ribbons of Blue,” Dame Pearlette Louisy (the former Governor General of St. Lucia), Kennedy “Boots” Samuel, Lovely St. Aimee and many more!
