Caribbean news. The anticipated launch of the CaribDirect International Business Network (CIBN) takes place in two days. Following months of planning and shaping a business network that focuses on realising opportunities for entrepreneurs from the investment priorities of Caribbean countries, CaribDirect Multi-Media has devised a unique platform to help stimulate trade and investment among SME’s in the United Kingdom.
Planned for 6.30pm on Thursday 13th March 2014 at the most elegant Trinidad and Tobago High Commission, the CIBN launch will see CaribDirect executives, David F. Roberts, CEO; Roy McEwen, Director of Trade and Strategy; and Tracey Williams, Business Development Director deliver coordinated presentations of the vision, business proposition and CIBN membership strategy.
Following the launch the first CIBN networking meeting entitled CIBN St Lucia will take place on Thursday 10th April 2014. Here High Commissioner H.E Dr Ernest Hilaire will deliver the opening message which will provide a summary of the economic profile of St Lucia and opportunities available to UK based entrepreneurs and businessmen and women. Additional features include presentations from business mentees of our Mentor / Coach deliver partners who will outline the benefits of professional business mentorship / coaching programs. Also opportunities will be provided to CIBN members to deliver a 1 minute Elevator pitch on their business to the audience. All of this and more takes place in a City venue under a St Lucia theme.
The main aim of these CIBN sessions is to promote trade, investment and business competence among SMEs in a congenial City location under a Caribbean theme. All are invited to come down and meet High Commission officials, entrepreneurs and captains of industry.
