Following much planning and research a group of Saint Lucians in the UK staged a unique exhibition to showcase some of the most honoured and revered citizens of St Lucia who were instrumental in the development and advancement of the island.
The first of its kind, the exhibition gave a brief overview of the journey to independence through images, and highlighted some important events in St Lucia’s history. His Excellency The Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Secretariat Mr Kamalesh Sharma took time out to attend and was visibly impressed with the attention to detail and the layout of the exhibits.
