The Mayor of London invites you to watch the fifth annual event that City Hall will be holding, to commemorate the UNESCO International Day for Remembrance of the Transatlantic Slave Trade and its Abolition. Mayor of London, in partnership with Sankofa Day. 

The memorial provides an inclusive space for all people to remember the victims of the transatlantic slave trade, reflect on its legacy, and honour those freedom fighters who fought for its abolition.  

This year’s theme is ‘Decolonisation’. Let’s take a moment to reflect.
