As part of Big Adoption Day 2018, Adoption North London is hosting an information evening for anyone wanting to know more about becoming an adoptive parent.
Across north London, there is a greater need for adopters of sibling groups, children of Black and mixed backgrounds as these are the children that wait the longest for their forever families. We are also looking for adopters interested in fostering to adopt.
As an adoptive parent you can be: single, married, divorced, co-habiting or in a civil partnership, what is important is your capacity to love and care for a child and provide a safe and secure home.
Adoption North London is a partnership between, Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and Islington’s adoption teams. This means you will have access to 6 agencies in one day.
This event will give you a chance to find out more about the registration and assessment process. We will have adoptive families and professionals present too to share their stories, offer advice and answer any questions you may have. At the end of the evening you will be invited to complete a registration of interest so that we can stay in contact and take your interest forward.
So, why not join us on Wednesday 21 March from 6:00pm at Green Rooms, 13-27 Station Road, Wood Green N22 6UW.
