The Black Lives Matter campaign, though around for more than four years now having been born in America under the Obama administration, has taken off beyond the founders’ expectations. The time has come where not being a racist is not enough and the need to be anti-racist is necessary to reduce racial, social and economic inequality. One of the most effective ways of showing solidarity for the plight of Black people around the world is to donate to credible charities or civic organisations in your community.
