“This is an exciting new development for St. Kitts, particularly as it is a first for the destination while also representing the first of the Telegraph Travel Apps to be launched,” said recently appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, Racquel Brown.
She said that with consumers increasingly using their mobile devices to search for holiday information, “it is essential we keep our visitors up-to-date; and I am thrilled that the partnership with Telegraph Media Group and British Airways has secured this most innovative product for the destination.”
Britain’s Free to download, the innovative Telegraph St. Kitts Destination App, already selected by Apple as one of its ‘best new apps’, reflects the growing demand for instant access to information by today’s consumer.
According to Britain’s Daily Telegraph, it is available across all devices including iPhone and Android, providing exclusive island content relevant to the beginning, during and end of the St. Kitts holiday.
In addition to insightful reviews of the best beaches and island experiences, restaurants and bars, compiled by the Telegraph’s destination experts, the App features up-to-the-minute flight offers to St. Kitts with British Airways and will even offer insider knowledge about the local delicacies to order and how to get the best tables.
Easy to use interactive maps, key information and a customised itinerary allows visitors to plan the perfect trip with every location plotted on the iPhones map, allowing users to see where they are and quickly get to where they need to go.
