Serge Letchimy visits Dominica

Since Thursday August 27^th, Serge Letchimy, the President of the Regional Council of Martinique (member of the OECS), has launched the operation “Caribbean Solidarity” after the damage caused by tropical storm Erika in Dominica.

The raising of donations has started in Martinique since Saturday August 29^th and will be held until Thursday September 3^rd. On Friday September 4^th, The French Red Cross which collaborates with the office of Disaster Management of Dominica will distribute the numerous donations collected through operation “Caribbean Solidarity”.

Serge Letchimy will travel to Dominica on Tuesday, September 1^st, with the Prefect of Martinique and public works specialists.
