London Nollywood UK Ltd showcased its first feature movie “Strive2Survive” directed by Nelson Spyk. It was held at the prestigious Cineworld cinema at the O2 Millennium Dome at Greenwich London.
At £100 a seat, this was the most expensive exclusive premiere in London ever. More importantly it was sold-out in under 48hrs.
At London Nollywood we bring professionalism into the industry. Nigerian Nollywood is amazing, what we aim to achieve is to showcase talented artist in London. In light of this, we used very talented UK based artists.
Very influential Executive Producers, top Directors and Nollywood actors were in attendance.
Nollywood is growing in Europe and we want to create stories that relate to Nollywood lovers in Europe. Nollywood veterans like Omosexy and Genevieve Nnaji have their place but at London Nollywood we are taking advantage of outstanding talents here in the UK.
We aim to make our movies commercially viable, this is important because we want our UK talents to be well paid. We aim to do an exclusive theatrical release of “Strive2Survive” next year.
