SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES – Last Sunday 2nd June 2013, Shara George – Miss Mustique Company Ltd., waltzed away with the Miss SVG 2013 title in the Pageant held at Victoria Park making Caribbean news.

The 22-year-old beat off spirited challenges from Anna Laborde – Miss Metrocint General Insurance Company who won the First Runner-up position, and Hannah Hamilton – Miss Lotto who was the Second Runner-up.

Shara George who is the daughter of public relations specialist Jerry S. George, also won the Best Evening wear category, and from information received, performed very well in the three other judged categories namely Best Talent, Best Interview, and Swimwear.

The Miss SVG 2013 Queen received amongst her many prizes an EC,000.00 scholarship, and EC,000.00 cash.

Other winners for the night were Best Interview won by Ann-Therese Chambers – Miss Agriculture Input Warehouse, Best Talent won by Chenead Hackshaw – Miss Super Six, who also as Miss Photogenic by the photographers.

Anna Laborde – Miss Metrocint General Insurance Company, who also won the Miss Congeniality title, won best Swimwear; and the Miss Community Spirited title went to hannon Bess – Miss LIME.
