One of Jamaica’s most highly anticipated annual events is the Miss Jamaica UK pageant and this year it is back with a real BANG!! The event has been scheduled to take place on Saturday 1st December 2012 at the Camden Centre, Euston Road, London (WC1H 9JE).
Mentor, teacher, entrepreneur and former model June Daley has scoured the country to find the most graceful, proud and talented Jamaican girls by heritage. For its’ 22nd year, the pageant will showcase 15 of these young females at their best; providing them with a significant platform to a world stage where the winner will be presented with the opportunity to explore the land of Jamaica and all its’ glory and culture.
This foremost Jamaica UK beauty pageant will also be celebrating Jamaica’s 50th year of Independence with talented guest artists Nicole, Savana, Chardel and music by Supertone Roadshow.
The finest Caribbean cuisine will be available on site, provided by Caribbean Scene and refreshments will also be on sale. This is an event not to be missed and TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE AT £25!!! Proceeds from the pageant will go to this year’s nominated charity, the Jamaican Inner City Foundation.
