The days are getting shorter and the weather is getting somewhat cooler. As we say goodbye to summer sixteen, we say hello to the new season of Miss Barbados UK 2017.
The team is back and is on the hunt for young girls of Barbadian heritage or Barbadian decent to apply for Miss Barbados UK 2017. Applications are now open to all who think they have what it takes to be crowned the new queen.
The current queen, Miss Sheree Miller has had an eventful reign, making appearances up and down the country, inspiring others and sharing her knowledge learnt during her four month intensive training as part of the Miss Barbados UK regime. Sheree is set to visit Barbados in December, courtesy of the Barbados Tourism and Marketing Inc, Cinco Amor Ltd and Divi Southwinds Resort, with a long list of activities she will be taking part in upon her arrival.
Applications for Miss Barbados UK 2017 are now open with full details found on the pageant website www.missbarbadosuk.com. The deadline for applications is midnight, Tuesday 15th November 2016.
