Considering Lucy Mecklenburgh works in fashion, we were surprised to see her sporting this monokini monstrosity while holidaying in Barbados.

The TOWIE star took a break in the Caribbean just before Christmas, and by the looks of these snaps she was riding solo. Her boyfriend Mario Falcone was nowhere to be seen.
You’d have thought he would have stayed close to the Essex beauty, with a bod like that.
Lucy’s snake-print one-piece left very little to the imagination as she paraded her figure for the sneaky paps on the beach.
And we were impressed to see that she has managed to fake tan every inch of her body, leaving not a single white bit in sight.
Or, it could be a real tan.
But she is an Essex girl…
Lucy is now enjoying another holiday, hopping between Middle Eastern cities Dubai and Abu Dhabi with Mario. She’s been tweeting her excitement about the getaway for weeks.
She wrote on Twitter: “Sunbathing time!! Last day ! If any1 wants to go Abu Dhabi I recommend the Yas Hotel !! If u like really modern ! X” (sic)

We’re amazed she didn’t gain an ounce over the Christmas break.
