As the Olympic Flame visits Scotland, Torchbearer Tara Laing takes it to Loch Ness as it travels from Glasgow to Inverness

Today the Olympic Torch Relay made its way across Loch Ness in Scotland.  The most famous resident of Loch Ness did not make an appearance, but crowds in Scotland have once again come out in force to see the Olympic Flame.

The Flame is on its way through Scotland on Day 22 of the Olympic Torch Relay, travelling from Glasgow to Inverness.  The Flame has already passed through iconic locations in Wales, Northern Ireland and England.  Almost a third of the way through the Torch Relay, millions of people have already lined the streets of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales to witness the Flame passing through their towns and villages.  Tomorrow, Sunday 10 June 2012, will see the Flame visit the Orkney Islands and Shetland Islands on its journey from Inverness to Stornaway.
