Kids choir brighten up Pharrell’s ‘Happy’

American news. Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” is such a, well, happy song that it’s made people around the world dance. But this version by an elementary school choir in Detroit might put even bigger smiles on our faces than the original.

The talented students in the Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences choir nail the Oscar-nominated hit, posted on YouTube by Edward Bone, all with perfect choreography. The two lead singers have so much star quality they might just be future Pharrells, and we’re glad all these kids are the future of Detroit.

Watch the video above, and get ready to clap along if you know what happiness is to you. We’ll be rewatching every time we need a pick-me-up this week.
