The reality to businesses in general as a result of the disruptive effects of the covid-19 pandemic have been difficult but for Black businesses more particularly, absolutely devastating. While mainstream white businesses are able to rely on or access certain financial facilities easier than Black businesses their owners are more likely to have access to personal or private reserves unavailable to Black entrepreneurs.
