There is a huge gap in the market for a pageant like this here in the United Kingdom and we believe that we are able to create opportunities for young women with Barbadian heritage to not only learn about their roots, but to inspire others also” Shakira Hamblin, Director, Cinco Amor Ltd.

The mission of Miss Barbados UK is to raise awareness of Barbadian history and culture within the United Kingdom, connecting with the diaspora. Each delegate will participate in a three month intensive training and educational programme which will not only prepare the winning delegate for her journey as Miss Barbados UK but also as the ambassador of the brand.

Brains and beauty, a phrase we are all familiar with is something that will truly be portrayed at the first annual Miss Barbados UK pageant.
