Community news. The FILM FRIDAY series of screenings have still be chugging along gathering as many beautiful people along the way as it possibly can.
We’ve had a blast meeting new acquaintances, sharing respective insights and of course watching good movies.
Last week we kicked off the Month of May with the ever-so-funny Last Vegas which stars Morgan Freeman, Robert DeNiro, Kevin Kline & the main celebrant Michael Douglas.
As always, we kicked off the evening breakin’ ice, then we jumped straight into what ended up being an almost laugh a minute, sentimental, feel good evening for such a good movie.
Well this month we’re proud to announce our collaboration with two of the UK’s most respected community members Toyin Agbetu, a long standing community activist and Tony Warner another long standing activist.
We proudly join arms in screening with both gentlemen who champion the cause for bringing knowledge and awareness of African stories of existence, contributions, struggles, triumphs, injustices and inequalities. See below our list of remaining films for the month of May.
Once again a big THANK YOU to the regular FILM FRIDAY crew and everyone that actively supports the movement.
