Community stalwart and long time friend of CaribDirect Multi-Media, Anthony Kelly has been bestowed the coveted British Citizens Award (BCA). See letter from BCA to Anthony below:

Dear Anthony,

Congratulation on being selected to receive The British Citizen Award (BCA).

Enclosed in this parcel is your British Citizen Award Medal of Honour. We have also included a Memory Stick containing a presentation with some messages from key people from The British Citizen Award family. There is also an invitation to join us at The Palace of Westminster at a date yet to be determined.

The short presentation shows how much gratitude we have for your endeavours. It will hopefully shine some light at a time of gloominess and make you proud of your achievements.

We are delighted to recognise your achievements and are pleased to report that since the announcement of the July medalists in 2020, this cohort of medalists have featured in over 292 pieces of positive media coverage, reaching an audience of over 37.4 million people across the UK. We fully expect the media to cover your group of January medalists with the same enthusiasm.

Under normal circumstances we would have provided you with a memorable occasion to accompany your recognition. We have included a Press Release  for your use locally,  and suggest  you  send local media your picture wearing the medal. We will be doing everything we can at a national level to generate another round of media interest to further your cause.

We look forward to meeting you in person when we can, until then, please wear your Medal with pride whenever you can and continue to positively impact society as you have done thus far.

Kind regards

Mike Faulkner

Group Director
