THE OPPORTUNITY

There is no better time to invest in the Caribbean and in particular our two focused Island States (Jamaica and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) for the CIBN Construction Conference.

JAMAICA

As Jamaica positions itself to lead the Caribbean as the logistics hub of the region emphasis is being placed on harmonising to achieve short-term, medium-term and long-term objectives for growth, development and prosperity. To this end the bi-annual Jamaica Diaspora Conference 2015 – a gathering of Jamaicans from the Diaspora namely, UK, USA and Canada primarily – will focus on economic growth and how the Diaspora can assist in this in relation to investment. Construction in its many forms is integral to this program.

Projects available for immediate investment:

Montpelier Residential Lands

Expressions of interest are invited from experienced residential developers for the acquisition of (a) 747 acres of land suitable for residential development in the contiguous parishes of St James and Hanova and (b) a 28.16 acre property zoned for commercial use.

Johnson Hill

Lot 143 in Johnson Hill is a 7-hectare parcel of land that is slated to be developed into four residential clusters of 52 units with a mix of two-bedroom townhouse units and two and three bedroom duplex homes.

Mount Edgecombe

Mount Edgecombe is a 37.6-hectare subdivision located in the parish of Westmoreland, at the westernmost end of Jamaica’s south coast. The majority of the lands are within the slope range of 1:6 to 1:10. At least 20% of these lands fall within the 1:4 to 1:6 slope range.

Speakers / Presenters: Deputy High Commissioner Diedre Mills and Commercial Attaché at Jamaican High Commission, London; and Regional Manager, Europe at Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO).
