The Caribbean Enterprise Network (CEN) is currently extending its Caribbean regional reach explains Director of operations Denis St.Bernard. CEN’s Regional Team lead by Jamaican Engineer and Entrepreneur Mr. Lloyd O’Meally is very heartened by the embrace and desire for collaboration expressed by the Small businesses and their Associations in the region.

CEN this week rapped up a 2 week sensitisation trip to the region covering Barbados, St Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago. ‘This is just the first of many future visits planned to not only network with regional SMEs and entrepreneurs, but to share and learn from each other’s best practices and opportunities while forging a Diaspora link starting with the UK and extending to the US and Canada; the major overseas territories where most Caribbean immigrants live and make their homes.

Mr. O’Meally went on  to add that the market place is ready for a strategic alliance between the small businesses within the region and potential stakeholders here and in the Diaspora. Also that we should now grasp the opportunity this alliance affords to build the capacities of the SME’s Caribbean-wide.
