Caribbean Enterprise Network UK (CENUK) was in high praise over the landmark achievement made by their online media partner Caribdirect.com in reaching 300,000 viewers over their last review period.
Caribdirect.com CEO David F. Roberts, sees this as a tremendous marketing opportunity for not only Caribdirect.com but for the entire Caribbean region. He explained, ‘Readers and visitors of our original articles and regional news come from 107 Countries around the world, with the largest viewership coming from Caribbeans in the US, UK and Canada. We have a strong following of Caribbean nationals in India, Germany and South Africa.’
CENUK’s Director of Operations, Denis St.Bernard saluted this landmark and sighted this as an opportunity for the various Caribbean trade bodies to establish links with CENUK and Caribdirect.com with a view to driving Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) .
He added, ‘We are currently part of a UK Caribbean Missions Professional Working Committee focusing on facilitating Caribbean companies into the global markets, while driving FDIs into the Caribbean.
This is an initiative which was started by the current Trinidad and Tobago High Commissioner HE Garvin Nicholas and coordinated by the Trinidad and Tobago Commercial Attache, Ms Karen Thomas and her team.’
Mr St Bernard said the time is now for a progressive Caribbean media organisation to step up and properly serve the people of the region and Diaspora in an effort to support business, industry and governments.
He congratulates CaribDirect.com for their dedication and reminds the CEO that his work has just begun as the eyes of the world are upon him and that this collaboration between CENUK and CaribDirect.com is key to providing opportunities for small to medium size businesses across the Caribbean.
